    Guys he is right, think about it..

    If you have a $100K you pay about $35K in tax then you pay at least $7.5K tax on whats left as a minimum with 10% GST taking it to $42K tax.. you also have to pay 9% in super which is forward pension tax. thats $51K tax all up as a minimum

    Then what do you spend it on? You probably spend over $7K a year on petrol which has even more tax, and thats not the only thing you buy that needed oil to get it there.. lots of petrol tax passed on everything you buy.

    Buy a couple beers on a friday, tax tax tax tax tax

    it would easily average out most people pay over 50% of their wage in tax's not just as they earn it, but as they spent it
