Very disappointing for existing holders. I still believe long term outlook is good but this I feel shows total disrespect for those holders who have been patiently waiting with little ongoing information and updates. No offer to existing holders and at such a low point in pricing. And yes I do understand the lower cost of an institutional raising. It just seems unfortunate when a share price is so shorted and then suddenly an institutional placement is made....mmm probably coincidental. Also find it frustrating that presentation was not shared with existing holders. I would hope no information was provided to potential/new shareholders without being as yet advised to existing holders and general public by way of announcement.
All in all disappointed and the reason for the placement seems underwhelming to me on the face of announcement today. I would certainly hope that a substantial increase is made in production in near future and a reconfirmation of all reserves is made together with far more updating to investors. But you would then wonder why this was not made prior to share placement. Sad part is that this ongoing update has not been happening of late but with the emergence of institutional shareholders will be highly expected by them and will I suspect be delivered by the company...now.
