I am trying to get my head around any rationale reason why Tatts will need to renew JIN in 2017.
The last two deals expired and are now on a month to month basis. This is a pretty important indicator.
At the rate Tatts is growing its customer base, they can just safely switch off JIN completely in a few years. The basic argument is that Tatts will not want to smite its best distributor, especially since JIN also has lots of registered players.
My question is: if Tatts cuts out JIN, where do you think these players will go?
So this is now a race against time. They need to get the new ventures going before Tatts pulls the plug. And who is to say the Tatts problem wont be replicated in other jurisdictions? There is really no barriers to entry.
Would really like to read other's opinions.
