    THANKS JILL!!

    Dear Peter,

    Tried to call you this morning but didn't answer. Thanks for your email below asking why we are still presenting at investor conferences.

    Although it's often the case that investors won't inject money into a company while the world is stuck in what appears to be a sustained bear market period, that doesn't mean the company stops trying to engage with our investors, potential investors and the market by keeping a low profile.

    By 'investors' I am specifically referring to shareholders.

    Even in difficult times companies need to;
    - stay visible and build relationships
    - focus on long term story and strategy deliverables
    - address concerns
    - promote achievements and progress

    Sundance has achieved some significant milestones in the last few years, including the establishment of a world-class asset with substantial Resources and Reserves, environmental approvals, government permits and convention, a solid development strategy following the termination of the Hanlong SIA and most recently a substantial, bankable offtake agreement. By presenting at conferences specifically aimed at an investor audience, our aim is to reacquaint with, or inform new, investors about Sundance as well as ensure existing investors continue to hear from us. Furthermore participating in investor conferences is part of our investor relations strategy which supports the recent updated Corporate Governance Principles and Recommendations by the ASX Corporate Governance Council, which says a listed entity should design and implement an investor relations program to facilitate effective two-way communication with investors. (recommendation 6.2). We have a policy of publishing a copy of the presentation delivered on the ASX platform so all shareholders are aware of the fact that the company (normally CEO or Chairman) is out in public talking about what we're doing.

    Despite today's mass communications channels including modern day technology, media articles, or even sites such as Hot Copper enabling greater flow of information - face to face communication is still an extremely powerful way to engage and communicate.

    In some instances our commitment to participate in these conferences may be scheduled up to 1 year in advance (for the bigger ones), or we may take advantage of times to get in front of investors and engage with them when it is timely and convenient to do so - such as the one coming up in Perth at the end of the month, which allows investors to attend for free and hear from executives of ASX-listed companies such as our Chairman George Jones.

    I trust that addresses your concerns, but please feel free to give me a call if you'd like to discuss further.

    Regards,
    Jill
