our banks are not as sound as people think.. guarantee is only as good as the guarantor. the protection will be gone from november this year at the G20 when they put it into the rules that the banks can use your deposits.. What Paul C was saying was only having money in an offsett acc and having a loan... so it means you dont have to apply for a loan. as the rules are getting harder.. i put 2 and 2 together and maybe come up with 5...
SO if you have a loan and money in the bank...can the bank require you to still pay the loan if they have taken your cash?
