You cannot even address these inequities in a court of law as I had hoped, because if one were to go to court as an individual and a retail trader and investor and try to challenge any specific area and address the discrepancies between the application of the Corporations act to 'retail' and 'wholsesale' or reference the wider actions of the wholesalers in the market the court wont hear you as any retail participant would have 'no legal standing' to challenge the wider implementation of the law, while a large bank or hedge fund, as a major participant in the market would be allowed to.

Is this 'lack of legal standing' the root cause of the focus of ASIC on retail prosecution and the reason the wholesalers are getting increasingly more leniency on their actions?

I cant believe a lawyer has not built their reputation and career in this area yet from the perspective of the general public. Guess all the money is on the other side of the fence.
