Satimola Update
The Company announced on 8 May 2013, that it had entered into a number of agreements with
various parties (Transaction Agreements) under which it agreed to acquire a 100% interest in the
Satimola potash and borate project in Kazakhstan (Satimola Project). The acquisition was subject to
a number of Conditions Precedent. While KPC remains interested in the Satimola Project, the
proposed acquisition of it is now not proceeding under those Transaction Documents. KPC continues
discussions with the Satimola vendors.
