So why did Jehovah create Satan in the 1st place? --------------- Certainly not to test us as Director claims. Never would Jehovah collude with Satan.
(James 1:13) When under trial, let no one say: “I am being tried by God.” For with evil things God cannot be tried, nor does he himself try anyone. Satan was created with free will as are humans. He became a satan(meaning opposer)when he chose a course in opposition to God. He became a devil(meaning slanderer)when he lied to Eve.(Genesis 3:1-6) If Jehovah had crushed Satan when he rebelled the issue of the righteousness of God's sovereignty would not have been settled. 6000 years of Satan's failed rule is there for all to see.
