    weight loss for 99% of the population is simply about food intake and portion control - no need to do any significant exercise. steady state cardio increases appetite and often leads to more additional calories being consumed than were burned - far easier to just not put the food in your mouth in the first place

    the hunger feeling comes in waves, it doesn't snowball and continue to get worse.. once you trust that, it can be pretty easy to fast.. instant gratification society goes for the easy option though
