Coincidentally the move to Singapore was announced a month or two after the Chinchilla investigation got underway.

At this stage I don't understand what environmental harm is supposed to have occurred or when exactly it was supposed to have occurred. The company says it relates to older technology but doesn't say what generation yet the department has apparently found evidence recently in the investigation. The company doesn't say what is alleged to have occurred.

It may not be an issue with the gasifer or UCG chamber itself but rather with some other emissions or spill or improper disposal of GTL byproducts from old GTL R&D - who knows?

It may be successfully defended by Linc but the court action will probably be deterimental in terms of due dilligence for new UCG pilots in Wyoming and Poland and new signups will be difficult till the issue is at least understood and explained properly by someone and finally till it is resolved in the courts in a few years time.

Just what Linc did not need. Question marks on environmental credibility was something Linc had skillfully avoided, till now they were able to proudly point to their record.
