For strictly lateral flow, the glue can be used in the following that I am aware are proven beyond any reasonable doubt.

Gold nanoparticles
metal-oxide particles (iron oxide, silicon oxide etc...)
Latex particles/surfaces
streptavidin attachment
antigen attachment
antibody attachment
flurophore attachment
enzyme attachment
DNA /olignonucleotid attachment
lipid attachment

They haven't published results on any binding to silver particles/surfaces.

There are also many other uses of this technology that would benefit BBI solutions outside of just the lateral flow components. No doubt BBI is well aware of this.

In particular, I have a hunch that this technology can allow a revolutionary way in which anti-cancer drugs are coated to gold nanoparticles. M&G may allow a simple water-based multi-plex attachment method of these drugs, as opposed to the crappy organic-solvent based methods used currently.
