As I said on another post, life expectancy has increased but not many of us will be physically able to continue with manual work into our 60-70's let alone get a job.

What we will find is people will end up on sum sort of disability pension or on unemployment benefit forced to apply for jobs they don't have a hope in hell of getting.

If you have a decent amount in super you have to wait longer to access it and probably don't qualify for the pension any way.

I don't plan to be working so to speak in my 60's regardless of what the retirement age is.

Funny we don't hear these politicians offering to wined back the generous pensions and entitlements
