Doesn't matter how you read it, mate, I'm telling you how flow testing on air-drilled wells works. :)

They can't isolate the bottom zones on an air-drilled well. There is no way to set packers or anything. So when you flow test an air-drilled well you are flow testing everything that's open ie everything from last casing shoe to TD.

The wireline incident sounds very similar to last time on Surprise. They say nobody was hurt but it was significant enough to not only shut down the rig but to involve government regulators. That suggests a significant near miss and possibly equipment damage.

My guess is either equipment damage (either due to mechanical failure or, like Surprise, human error) or they have had a well control incident and had to shut BOPs. My money is on the former.
