I would suggest the reference to CSG is an attempt to differentiate between the two technologies. The distinction required so as to channel any negative public opinion towards UCG only. The QLD government has a lot riding on CSG and it won't do to have the electorate tar both industries with the one brush.
In regard to the timing of a release the tardiness of management is galling and, in my view, the company most certainly does not have to wait until legal proceedings begin. I guarantee you that the people who oppose this technology won't be waiting before they seize upon the governments accusations and scream "I told you so!"
Friday may well have been the first time management have heard of the charges but I will guarantee they knew full well about the nine month investigation.
They need to make a full statement so that shareholders are informed in regard to this issue.
