Apologies to all and sundries for the way my previous post read.

Below is how it should have read.



We have been told in a sort of a way "On or About the 10th of April".

Now, what does ""On or About"" means.??

Some have their interpretations, and I have mine. Mine though, are based on what is written below.

""A phrase used in reciting the date of an occurrence or conveyance, to escape the necessity of being bound by the statement of an exact date.

This happens when there is any uncertainty about the exact date on which an event occurred. "However, when used in non pleading contexts the phrase is mere jargon".


The last part of that definition, which I took the liberty of making/posting it in Bold, IMHO says it all.

So, how long is a piece of string.??? :-(
