is it possible that large holders have been approached privately and been offered a different price per share to push the deal through? i noticed in the australian article that when approached, they declined to comment. the lack of opposition or any other offers seems mighty strange to me.
if there have been private deals made, we are once again the schmucks funding the fat cats.
