On the 20th April 2010 Prana announced a Phase 3 trial for AD with a primary outcome of cognition, this was to be partially funded by $A15M from the Victorian Government subject to re-election. This trial was for 525 patients over 12 months and I would suggest that those numbers were considered sufficient to get PBT2 to market, can anyone here hazard a figure for how much this trial would cost if run today ? I've seem to recall hearing a figure of $35,000 per patient ($A18.37) but this was not authoritative.
