Does lack of universal agreement on any theory make them all wrong?
Perhaps. What is certain is that they cannot differ & all be right.

My view is that the scientific method which entails a continuous challenge of current theory does not in itself make them wrong.

If the theory of evolution were to be proved to be wrong, this would not concern me as this discovery would add to our knowledge and would provide the impetus to a better theory.

Scientific theories are work in progress.

Many who believe in evolution would tell you that billions of years ago, life began on the edge of an ancient tidal pool or deep in the ocean. They feel that in some such location, chemicals spontaneously assembled into bubblelike structures, formed complex molecules, and began replicating.

I agree that the process or processes that started life is intriguing and still a mystery.

The theory of evolution does not attempt to answer this question. The theory of the evolution addresses the incredible diversity of life once started.

In his book Evolution: A Theory in Crisis, molecular biologist Michael Denton concluded that the theory of evolution “is more like a principle of medieval astrology than a serious . . . scientific theory.” He also referred to Darwinian evolution as one of the greatest myths of our time.

My view is that Michael Denton is wrong. There are thousands of biologists working in the area who also think that he is wrong. Denton is entitled to his opinion.
