I understand you're passionate as one thing, but I merely said it would be a great vote of confidence having even more bought up, becuase at the end of the day what's $2k, 3k ont he wage they earn, and on the shares he already owns anyway?

I didn't (and if I did it was not my intention) insinuate he was doing a great disservice or showing any commitment at all. Just that it would have been an even stronger show of commitment to the outside world and current holders if he did. Logically wuld you feel safer knowing a director was buying $3k versus $30k (obviously liquidity is low, but that's just an example).

Yes, UNV in fact nearly makes up close to 1/3 to 1/2 of my portfolio, so I have pretty much put my money where my mouth is. It's not a comfortable position to be in as it breaks all sorts of investing rules for obvious reasons. Obviously I'm not rolling in the deep so I cannot just toss cash out and mop up even more - even if I'd like.
