So the government will likely end up in a worse position than it is now.

You may not like it, I may not like it, but it's how the constitution has structured our federal parliament makeup.

Better then, that the government of the day negotiates and gives ground where it can, to achieve it's aims.

I understand the frustration about the carbon tax & mining tax, the LNP were given a overwhelming mandate to get rid of them.

I dont blame the greens or micro parties. I blame the ALP.

Rudd promised during the campaign to get rid of it. Now the ALP is stalling even though it cost them an election.

If only a few WA & QLD state senators did their job and voted in the interests of their state, like they are supposed to, instead of along Party lines.........
