Yes moondoong Rudd promised to get rid of the carbon tax by replacing it with a carbon trading scheme. You should not have left the last bit off.
This government could get rid of the carbon tax tomorrow by introducing a carbon trading scheme which would be supported by the Senate.
But they don't want that.
