I don't knock Abbott for having faith. I just find it extremely difficult to imagine how his faith all fits together, given the sort of things he says at times.
Nor do I have a problem with mothers being supported to some extent during the early months after having a child.
It's just Abbott's mindless votebuying luxury welfare that I find simply laughable in supposedly "very tough times".
