I referred to him as a trainee priest simply because I cannot believe that he ever even contemplated that vocation, given the sorts of hatred that he exhibits towards people.
Not many trainee priests I have known (and I am a Catholic, albeit not a devout one), would even think of, for example, rehashing the "died of shame" phrase on the floor of parliament, just days after his friend, the delightful little Alan Jones used the phrase to entertain the young LNP "up and comers".
To target the emotions of a grieving woman publicly as they did, was something I've never witnessed in my life before. In politics, or, outside politics.
But it didn't really surprise me that either Abbott of Jones would indulge in such behaviour. It's what I've grown to expect of each of them.
