I'm glad you asked Forbz, so I can make the point. Both announcements heralded major new discoveries, the first for copper, the second for gold.
In the first announcement there was no copper - zero, zip, nada...
In the second example there was no gold - zero, zip, nada...
Should the ASX have known at the time of submission and been made accountable for those misleading announcements, or should the promoters have been made accountable at the very least for incompetence? In both cases, nothing happened in a disciplinary sense. Both of those examples are shockers and punters lost money as a result. Unfortunately, there are many more examples.
