What if, just a what if, negotiation with Randgold has already been ongoing but KJ is just trying to locate even more gold to leverage his position in the negotiation?

ie - if we find more gold, then we can keep their plant occupied for even longer, cashflow for longer, while it gives them more time to figure out what to do with their plant once we are all done with it.
