You as a carnal human being have no more significance than a grain of sand on ninety mile beach. You have to make yourself worthy of help. Ive had staggering things happen. A lot of them. I know others who have too. A lot.
All human beings are significant - according to an African tradition called Ubuntu.
Essentially the principle is that we are human because of our mutual connectedness to each other. The tradition has it that we all have goodness in us and that it the expression of that mutual goodness that makes us human. One person "on the outer" affects us all because of our connectedness.
I have posted about this before: ref: Ubuntu (philosophy)
