Hey Tony,
The TNFa protein is widely used in active fields of R&D/diagnostics by many labs including the lab I work in. Companies such as Life technology, Luminex, ebiosciences and others may want to improve the sensitivity of their commercially available TNFa diagnostic assays to have a competitive edge.
