I'm a believer in 'making ends meet' and 'waste not want not'
Luckily I make a very good income but I work 7 days/week as did my immigrant father who learnt English when he arrived in Australia. I have made sacrifices as did my father who turned out to be a successful businessman.
If someone has to go without fast food, alcohol, cigarettes and pokies to be able to pay an increased GST on essentials my heart won't bleed.
