My take is permission granted from the professional regulatory bodies, but Councillors yet to vote.

The speakers opposing the application were just pathetic, in my opinion of course, and not wishing to "pidgeon hole" any of them but they were all very unprofessional, and repetitive with their presentations. The worrying point from my take of it is that some of the councillors were just as unprofessional and ill-informed, and these are the decision makers.

I wonder why Cuadrilla were not present to support their application, and speak to the concerns raised. I understand it wasn't a hearing but a council meeting, there were however a number of accusations presented towards Cuadrilla's professional standing and previous actions.

The interjections by those who caused the suspension, will in my opinion only support the view that Caudrilla consultation was almost non-existent.

tgn, do you know when the decision will be handed down, and I guess the next meeting will be held behind closed doors.
