Nope, Obama recently announced that the US will swiftly respond if there is any Russian incursion into Ukraine.
Russia has said they will not stand by whilst Russian citizens in Ukraine are slaughtered (same reasons given for invading Crimea).
Russian citizens are attacking, and being attacked as we speak.
