What I'm most excited about is an international patent they filed over a biometric security technology.
The patent was awarded in 2010, well before the current tech boom, so it went largely unnoticed.
The company just needs funds to manufacture the product and bring it to market.
The technology has not been matched by anything that has come to market over the last 3 years, from what I gleaned from a conversation with the CEO Richard Sealy a few months ago.
KKL's current RFID asset tracking business is still currently the major focus.
Once this starts generating improved revenues and royalties from their partnership with 3M, funds will be diverted towards the development of CertainID.
