As it turns out 3.8c is also long term resistance. I just had a look at the monthly over 6 years and 3.8 clear shows as resistance LT.
Also notable for perspective on the monthly was the fall in sp over April was on 95.8m shares with a test of 3.8. May alone was a convincing rise on over 321m shares (testing 3.8) and Feb on 197m shares. So in the scheme of things the April sell down was only 18.5% of all shares traded in the last 3 months.
I agree on the daily the triangle is still in play, providing 3.1 holds. Personally I am now thinking it will as a two small tests have been sent into 3.1 most likely to trigger stops but with no affect. But the week isn't over yet so anything could occur.
As someone stated not long ago gaps most often than not tend to fill. I believe this one will as well and a bounce to test 3,8 again is highly likely.
