"Hydrogen
Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. (KHI) and its subsidiary Kawasaki Hydrogen Engineering Australia Pty Ltd (KHEA) (a KHI subsidiary incorporated in Australia), (KHI Group) has signed a licence to use HRL’s IDG technology within a proposed pilot scale Hydrogen Energy Supply Chain (HESC) project.
The IDG licence is for the use of the IDG technology to produce syngas, which can then be used in a pilot-scale hydrogen production plant.
A front end engineering design (FEED) of a pilot-scale HRL Integrated Drying and Gasification (IDG) plant was completed for KHI Group.
These FEED activities included process and engineering design, plant configuration and layout."
