Flem, wintergrass is not a big issue in Brisbane. I do know of it, and see a little of it. Yes there is a spray for it but never used it. Your best bet is to go to a good nursery and make sure the spray is compatible with your lawn type. If not it will kill your grass as well as the wintergrass.
