From what I have read, so don't presume it is gospel, Westpac have a weakness in terms of presence in the Qld market.
Given that continued level of growth in Qld, Westpac could quite quickly gain market share by acquiring either the Bank of Qld or Suncorp. And I couldn't imagine the ACC would stand in their way.
Happy to read other points of view.
