Did some quick digging around for info and worked out the following: Every petajoule of gas that QGC sells is going for about $2 million. However every petajoule from Sydney gas is selling for about $3 million. (Probably because it is closer to a big market).
Also re flow rates: 1 petajoule per annum requires a annualised flow rate of just over 2.5 mmcf per day.
Now some of you can do some basic sums to work out how much their reserves might be worth, and what flow rates are required per day to meet the contracts?
A great link is http://www.santos.com/include/ConversionCalculator.html
It got me very excited! Hope it does the same for everybody else.
