They came out with a comment this afternoon virtually confirming the levy and that we should 'trust them '. Sorry , not me . This decision reflects on the character of a couple of certain key players. You cannot say ' no surprises ' and 'no new taxes' and 6 months later ramp up the marginal rate of tax for a certain group of taxpayers.
And please do not insult us by trying to call it something else. If you implement this , then you will have lied , and voters are sick of being lied to , no matter what the issue
It worries me that there are those in the LNP who truly believe this is the way to go - their judgement IMO is unbelievably flawed.
If this tax is implemented , I will absolutley not vote LNP again until the PM , Treasurer and Finance Minister are replaced, even if in the meantime I vote for no-one
