According to the ATO the top 10% (those earning $105k plus) pay 46% of all the income tax. Thre top 1% pay close to 17%. The top 20% pay 62%.
The ABS published recently that only the top 20% of earners actually pay more in taxes then receive back in government hand-outs.
The rich pay their fair share.
