My thoughts on Caz and Carpenter
Carpenter faces a backlash either way
If he goes with CAZ (which by the letter of the law he should) Rio, Rhinehart Wright will be on his ass.. till kingdom come
If he goes with Rio he will have influential friends! but face litigation from BHP ECH and CAZ....
It will be interesting to see the outcome

Who would have thought Carpenter had a front row pass to being heralded the New King of WA...
I believe RIO are now waiting to go ahead with mining that plot !earliest being 2008 which now obliterates the public interest argument..
