Valen1828, I like FND they tick a lot of boxes for the way they have built support on Wetar Island but but two issues persist:
(1)if I am not mistaken they are required by Indonesian law to divest 49% of the company to Indonesians by their fifth year of operation
    (2) the presidential election coming up here soon ....if Jokowi gets in fine but if Prabowo Subianto gets in he has been making noises about nationalizing foreign owned projects
Presuming Jokowi gets in the second issue is neutered and if they divest 49% to the local community (via a cooperative 100% controlled by locals)and allow the profits accumulated by the cooperative to be used to pay back a loan FND gives the locals enabling them to buy their share the first issue can be overcome as well.
Wetar Island is a nice place and FND management have been very good corporate citizens there in their assistance to the community and providing job opportunities to the local villagers of Wetar Island
