Share Biz, I live on the North Coast and have been to the site a couple of times, mainly to observe and establish my own perspective. My background is in water chemistry and I do understand the impacts of environmental pollution. I do know many of the protestors as it is a relatively small community; many of my collegues are active protestors and are highly educated professionals as are many others that I spoke to during my visits.....This issue has galvanised the north coast community, I have met many local business people, off duty police, school teachers, clergy, house wives and trades people. Yes there are some radicals who have been pulled into line by the protest organisers and yes there are a large number of contributors to this forum who need to be pulled into line because of the sweeping generalisations made about the integrity of those participating in the protest and the continued denegration of their character.
