Woke up and saw this announcement and must say it's an absolute disgrace that such a meeting is being called. It's a huge waste of time which even someone as obtuse as Simon Marais must know cannot be passed.
I understand that his mandate is not to build a company over the long term but rather get in, squeeze out a few bucks (at the expense of long term holders) and get out but to waste all our time because he isn't getting his way is ludicrous.
I know there's a few people on here who aren't that positive about the merger but Marais throwing his toys out of the pram like this must make you reconsider your opinion...
