Where i live is close to the holdens factory, and the whole area is getting caned from all sides..
The holdens workers have 3 or 4 years to plot, plan etc.. they will be given every assistance under the sun, training, $$$$, payouts, yet many others like me will have nothing like that, apart from maybe securing another 'contract", as not many employers hire without a time contract ...
And I read some of the holden workers are on stress leave already, and seeking counselling...
one phrase comes to mind..
Toughen up princess, and princes... reality is not being spoon fed...make your own paths..just like i will have to do...
It would be nice to have a little bit of job security, but people with jobs..its not a right, its a priveledge imo
