Jesus emptied Himself prior to taking on the nature of a servant.

The chronology is what is important, what he was (nature God) and then what he became via the act of his humilitation to become man (servant)

Since Philippians 2:7 states that Jesus took the form of a servant Jesus could not have possessed the nature of a servant prior to His birth in Bethlehem.

So this is why Mr Gordon is very touchy on this subject, this verse provides conclusive proof that Jesus could not have been Michael prior to His birth because an archangel is one of God's servants

Jesus is clearly not of that nature because He emptied himself voluntarily to BECOME a servant.

The passage you quote is Jesus already born in the flesh.
