Hi Monark if this well alone ran for 10 years at 170 BOPD for 10 years it would be a ripper and produce 620,000 BO gross or $62 Mil gross please let it happen..however the the 6'section only has an EUR of 360,000BO with the other 7'section perforated it has a total EUR of 500,000

There are two ways you can run a well, open the taps and hope like hell you don't stuff the formation and end up getting maybe only 200,000 BO out of it
Or you can open it up slowly learn about the formation as you go and get the expected EUR of 360,000 BO or even more.

The first option will give you more cash up front the second a lot more cash overall.

A responsible operator will take the latter option because they think long term.

Even at 170 BOPD over two years this would be a real winner but it is believed it can do a lot better than that and we all look forward to it. As our only producer there is likely to be more caution untill #5 proves up.

Over 10years with an EUR of 360,000 BO the well would average 98 BOPD so when or if it runs at 430BOPD it cant do it for long. Generally speaking the slower you run a well the more even the flow rate and the more oil you can expect out of it.

Supprising as it may seem SLB may know a little bit more about running a well than you and I.
