dozen,
""Do you reckon some of the new institutions would have hedged their bets and dropped some stock today?""
No I wouldn't think so.
They don't operate that way.
To want to become involved in acquiring shares into LNG they would have done plenty of research.
They would have done a risk anaylsis and made sure that LNG had financial backing, the right project with everything in the right order.
Basically, they would want to know that the story stacks up.
They would be familiar with this company and what has to be done because the model was Cheniere Energy.
So they know what is involved in getting this project underway and eventually completed.
Their investment would be for a much longer term.
Why would they exit when everything is going along nicely even if there is a profit to be had. They know todays profit will dwarf in comparison in a few years time.
They know the potential going forward don't worry about that.
They would not be looking at LNG having just the one project but indeed several projects in the years ahead.
These are long term investors Dozen, who are getting in on the bottom floor.
My guess is we will see LNG trading around the dollar mark in the not too distant future and we will look back today as the opportunity to acquire a few more.
