    Unbelievable that a man, living in a nursing home, still gets a taxpayer paid office, not to mention all the other perks which have no doubt been generously, but silently added to for a now very long list of unjustified perks.

    The pollie pension was first introduced around the time that Menzies lost office during a time when the country was riding on the back of the wool boom. A time when a retiring politician actually retired because it was 'not the done thing' to seek employment after politics.

    Well done to the 'faceless man' from the Liberal party shadows who has had the guts to come forward with his opinion. An opinion which probably the vast majority of Australians would agree with.

    The world seems to be being swallowed by the shadow of fascism, in its early stages, once again. What to do?
