Cheers for the article mohawk.
Great to hear that the ball mill is in country and that the government is so supportive. Anyone know much about the other mine that is also being developed? As its a good sign that its not just TRY in Guyana.
It would seem that TRY is hoping to start mining by Feb 2015, which is a huge change in timetable from the much earlier plans of AZH and now TRY (Although most recent company presentation mentioned that they hope production will start before June 30 2015)
Of course, if any gold stock can get this new project done its TRY.
Slightly off topic, I was looking at price of Gold and Silver in ARS (Argentinian Pesos), both have gone up by 40-50% since January, largely because of a devaluing of the ARS compared to the U.S Dollar. I can see both negatives and positives from this. Positive is that Casposo is getting super cheap to run, negative is when cash is moved to Guyana the conversion price is lower.
As the project loan for Guyana is in U.S dollars, as long as the project goes to plan, it will pay down the loan quite quickly without Casposo, however, it would be great to see the ARS stabilize a bit.
