madamswer you are a bit of a shock to the Hot Copper Libs because you are a right winger who tells it like it is. You are correct about Abbott and those of us who are anti most things Liberal (as in the Party, which is liberal only in name) want him to stay as he is damaged goods since the budget and so is Hockey.
Added to his budget which flies in the face of pre-election promises is upcoming rising unemployment due to the winding down of mining construction, the end of automobile manufacturing, the retrenchment of public servants, and possibly a recession caused by budget spending cuts.
The scene is set for the Liberal Party to be really hated by the vast majority by the time the next federal election is due. Where all the votes it will bleed go remains to be seen but I suspect only some will go to Labor.
