If we gave the people what they wanted capital punishment would be re-introduced, the NBN would have proceeded without being knee-capped and Malcolm Turnbull would be PM.
People did NOT vote for Tony Abbott to run amok with the budget - HE promised NO new taxes, lower taxes, the removal of Labor's great big taxes, lower debt on everything, lower growth, increased public confidence and then some.
Consequently Abbott had a mandate to do NOTHING since HE never spelled out what HE would actually do.
What political capital HE came to office with has now been totally consumed by his deceit, ineptitude and a sea of issues swirling around his government from what happened to Arthur Sinodinos to his own return of $13,000 of taxpayer funds HE had previously claimed.
